The backup camera in my C63s was unbelievably clear. Nicest/clearest I've ever seen. My 911 is a 2015 and the backup camera is not very good. The periphery is very fuzzy. The 2017 GTS I looked at did not look at all the same. Much clearer picture I've heard the unit is different. Is my camera faulty or is that how they come. I would be very surprised if Porsche intentionally made everything but the central area fuzzy. I've heard 2 different stories at the dealership. One said the camera is going bad the other guy said that's how they are made. It's under warranty still. I'm taking it in but wanted to hear what y'all had to say first.

My 2015 C2 factory backup camera is also not super clear. I assumed that some chemical got on it and made the lens cloudy...? I'd like to get it cleared up somehow.

I'll update the thread after I have it looked at. I have a bubble in my front wheel so I have to take it in anyways.

Go around back and wipe off the lens on the camera first ( if you haven't).
They can get dirty
