Default 991 Aero Kit as a DD... too much?

Came across a 991.1S w aero kit - front facia and the rear wing / ducktail setup.

As this is my DD: is the aero kit too "racy" for a DD? I like the conservative yet "exotic" shape of the 911.1S "standard". I like the aero in the front, not sure if the wing in the back is a bit much. Of course if this is a 2nd car / weekends only no question for me.

Anybody else go through a similar decision making process? I know many of you all on the board have gone through many 911's.... thoughts? TIA.

I daily drive mine, even in the rain! It's too much fun to drive to leave it sit in a garage, gathering dust...

I even put snow tires on it and drive through the winter, too! (If it isn't too nasty out.)

My old 991S was a lot more subtle without the aerokit cup. Still drove it as often as I could, though.

Even in the snow!

No not too much, sometimes I even think its too subtle, especially after staring at gt3s and RS's!

Daily drive mine, shop, beach, run to Lowes, have fun. Doesn't attract any more attention than a Guards Red would anyway.

The biggest issue is scraping the front bumper on driveways, especially if it has SPASM or lowered. As a DD you will have to be super careful unless you don't care about cracking the lower piece. Scratching it up will be unavoidable. As far as the aesthetics go, the duck tail has a cool/retro effect... the wing slapped on top of it not so much.

I drive this pretty much everywhere/all the time, so no I do not feel like an Aerokit would be too much. Drive it and enjoy!

No regrets here. I have the Aerokit and SPASM and love mine!

I was in the market for a new DD and I bought a 2012 Carrera S sight unseen because it had this aero kit.....

My last three cars: 997.2 GT3, 991.1 GT3 and GT4. All daily drivers. Do they make Porsches without wings?
