After diesel-gate I wouldn't put anything past these guys. Anyone have the ability to do an actual emissions test like the one that identified the diesel cheaters?
Well this just got interesting.

But honestly I feel like if that were the case, then *everyone* would have the stumble.

I hope some of you guys, that had the stumble well documented with your local dealership, write a well crafted and compelling letter to PCNA, and get reimbursement for this DIY repair.

I would like to see some more "stumble sufferers" complete this fix to truly confirm it's been resolved here on a wider sample.

I might have to do this at 80K when the bumper comes off again.

Great contribution to the community. Thanks so much.
I also have a 997.2 and would like to try this fix. Can you please post a link to the exact part you bought?

Is the problem with a certain lot of 02 sensors?

If so, how do we ID the good from the bad?

We have two (maybe three) cases of this being the solution. I'm not yet ready to call this solved, but it certainly looks promising. We have vehicles with the stumble in many different years, so I'm not sure how it could just be a bad batch of O2 sensors.

Maybe they aren't "bad" as such, but foul quicker than the engineers intended?

Dude, I think you are completely correct. That is my theory as well. They don't throw codes because they are reading and not failed. Oxygen sensors can drift or become fouled over time and not read as correct as they once did.

I don't know - My 2013 started developing the stumble in 2013. I took delivery in May, and I have in my service records an appointment at my dealer in September complaining about the stumble.

Argeed!

I'm looking forward to seeing if the new parts resolve the issue for you guys.
