I'm going but could not get into the Tail of the Dragon trip. Anybody interested in forming our own group that Friday to drive the Tail?

I'm a soft maybe. We'll probably take it easy that day and tour the Biltmore. Never been to Asheville and have always wanted to check out the area. And we both want to see the estate.
But maybe. I understand they needed to limit the entrants, but no one else from our region got in. I'm up by 5 every day and noticed the PCA email. Happened to finish my case early that day and was at the computer right at 3PM. We dithered for a while on activities and missed out on TOD and the art school tour.

This is from our spring trip there last year. Lots of problems getting the park police to allow me to fly the drone.

This is ironic! We are doing this ourselves the week before. Stopping at many of the same places. Also, we never miss the Tail when in the vicinity.
