Everything looks great. Any thoughts about upgrading the license plate to be road legal? :-)
Perhaps one day

Techart has some painted bits you can add to the standard mirrors that I like. Considered those?

How do you like the recaros? I've wanted to add a set of these for years. Are you running 4 point harness?

Sportster CS Seats are absolutely amazing. For some reason I have had 4 or 5 sets of these now, heated, non heated, leather, suede, etc.
These seats blow the non sport seats away in comfort and practicality.
I have spent extensive time in the oem sport seats and found them uncomfortable on my back. Also the stock sport or non sport seats do not have provisions for harness belts.

I have even taken the LWB seats out of a 991 GT3 in favor of these.. they are that great!

Using a Schroth Profi ii harness for track days, and could use it for canyons too. Four point with ASM for the street, and for the track I have the substrap in my Sabelt GT160 halo seat. (since the sportsters do not have a provision for a sub strap)

So they work as good as they look eh?! I need to pull the trigger on a set. I always felt the Recaro's dual purpose design was right for how I use my car. Admittedly I've driven less track days this last year but having a seat that can recline for daily duty but offer 4 point safety is intriguing. Great feedback thank you.

11.38@118 best of the day yesterday at Fontana Dragway in CA.

~2400 DA.
91 octane fuel / half a tank
Stock 20" Carrera S wheels
Stock PZero tires (heat cycled and beat from track days)
32psi front and rear
Giac Tune
Fabspeed bypass pipes
Roll bar
Recaro Sportster CS Seats
Techart rear spoiler
Brembo BBK front and rear

10s are possible I think. Lighter 19" wheels with stickier rubber, better fuel, better DA.

A stock 450HP/550Nm GTS will run 11.3 at 125mph. How much have you spent on mods? How much did GIAC and Fabspeed tell you you were making. Why? because a base PDK Carrera ~ 118mph (370HP and 450Nm).

Lets see some real world time slips of a US spec GTS run. A GTS will not run 11.3 at the same track as I with 91 octane fuel. Get my car on the east coast with a negative DA and 93 octane and it could run a 10.9.

My car MSRP was 105, add $3500 for only the GIAC tune and Fabspeed parts. And it ran 11.3
A GTS MSRPs with similar options for 130?

The articles you are referring to also said a stock base Carrera ran 11.9 pdk and 12.3 manual transmission.

Do you have stock runs? Just for reference:

Carrera 4 PDK 11.9@117mph
https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...ic-test-review

Carrera 2 GTS PDK 11.3@125mph
https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...ic-test-review

So you should be making 11.98@111mph stock

Car and Driver Instrumented tests

Base Carrera PDK 11.9s @ 118mph
Carrera S PDK 11.4s @ 123mph
Carrera GTS PDK 11.3s @ 125mph

Was you car pulling timing on 91? and what did GIAC and Fabspeed claim in terms of power gains. BTW Motortrend got more or less the same result in CA for the S.

I have tremendous respect for you running your car (notice randr hasn't run his on a strip but just quotes magazines?) and showing some real world numbers. Especially considering you ran at Fontana in California which is notoriously slow. Plus isn't it 90 degrees there?

I was reading on another site that someone asked you to compare your GIAC tune against theirs. Maybe a video comparison is a good idea?

Either way, respect for running your car but don't expect this crowd to understand. They're ignoring what 991.2 people got with their cars on actual dragstrips and are magazine racing instead.
I have to agree. Running 11.3x with a 2400 DA and California 91 octane pi** gas is very impressive. For most high performance cars, running real 93 octane is good for at least a few tenths over that CA crap. Just for fun, maybe the OP can add in some race gas to boost his octane just to see the difference.
