I do not like "piggy back" units. Generally, these devices work by altering the signals going into the ECU. For example, to make more power on a turbo car, most of these devices raise the boost. They do this by lying to the ECU and understating the boost level in order to have the ECU allow additional boost.

I feel much safer with tuning that updates the values in the ECU itself but that allows the ECU to get accurate sensor readings.

FVD is however one of the best if not my overall favorite as far as workmanship for porsches, whatever they do is likely on point.

These guys are often on the VERY reliable side of tuning vs the crazy power gains side with potential issues down the line I've noticed.

I have no doubt that the tuning will increase the HP. The part where I hesitate to do a tune is that you lose what a lot of manufacturers are trying to do with a turbo engine. A lot of R&D has gone into making the turbocharged cars feel like a NA car with a linear increase in power and decrease in turbo lag.

In my Turbo and got crazy amount of HP gain with exhaust and tune, but it definitely increased lag.
