Hello

Love your car! I'm a little biased, should be getting mine speced very similarly to yours, in about 2 weeks.

I purchased at Prestige....which dealer did you purchase from?

Funny.

When I saw 49kph and 4th gear, I thought ...... WTF ? Then I realized that it was a testament to the engine that it's even possible. And it was done purely for safety - driving and photography.

Beautiful car ! Congratulations.

Default It's here!

Got a chance to see my new car after delivered to Porsche Prestige last week. The entire purchase and order experience with my SA Vincent Allaire has been great. Very knowledgeable and passionate about these machines.

Can't wait to pick up my car after returning from vacation.

I'm having fun reading this thread. I have a C4 GTS on order. Pretty high-spec. Might be here mid-August if it's not delayed in port.

Is that strange EPA punishment of VW group affecting Porsche deliveries?

Nice spec! Waiting for the break-in period to finish is brutal, but once you do, you're going to love the power and sound it makes towards 7.2k rpm.
Look forward to seeing you on the roads in Montreal.

For sure.....visiting Europe right now; had looked into European delivery, but timing didn't work out. Heading to Stelvio Pass Tuesday and then onto Stuttgart to see Porsche Museum and factory.

From https://rennlist.com/forums/991/8250...ery-diary.html

... I did ask about break-in, and got the following answers: “for American customers, we must recommend you to keep it below 4200rpm, for everyone else we suggest use it as you normally would: careful while cold, then flat out.” This just confirmed my earlier decision that I am not going to baby it too much, especially not while doing my trip in the Alps. Hit the rev limiter a few times every day for proper exercise. "
Break in shmake in.

Better safe than sorry.

I'm happy to have stuck with the break-in, and equally happy to rev it out for the rest of its life.
