I think there are a number of similar posts on here, but happy to share my info.
I use Progressive, pay $900 each 6 months (2017 991.2 Turbo S, we live in Florida).
Here are details....

Thanks OP.
Long time insured by Travellers, but when I traded in my 2015 Cayman GTS for the 991.2 GTS they wanted $1100 extra per year. I just switched to Geico and my total yearly coverage dropped to $2600 for 911+BMW+Golf R and 2018 Impreza including teen son and daughter, from planned $4100 from Travellers . Also saved on Homeowners thru Geico.

That's a nice savings. Have had Geico for decades and never had an issue with claim. Gives you an idea what crooks some companies are.

Does anyone have any bad experience with any insurance companies to share? I've been with State Farm for nearly 20 years and this thread made me get quotes and all of them are cheaper than what I'm paying now, and this is even with pleasure cars under an agreed value policy! I like to know before I switch.

State Farm put all my cars under daily drivers, only way to bring the rate down is to monitor my driving habits. No way I'm letting them do this. Thinking of Geico for my daily drivers and Chubb or Leland West for the rest.

My 2018 C2S just completed production yesterday and my SA sent me the VIN #.
Quote from USAA $1201 per year. 43 year old, clean record, insure 3 vehicles, house and other with them. Been with them for 25 years
After reading this thread about long time members rates creeping up I am going to shop around a bit and see what I could find. 132k sticker on the car. I actually didn't think $100 a month was to bad. Will see what I can find.

I clicked on this thread to get an idea how much I might expect on my GTS that is on order. Needless to say, some of the numbers I see quoted here are mind boggling.
I currently have two cars with $250K/$500K, collision w/$250 deductible, and comprehensive w/$0 deductible (State Farm).
'15 Cayman S $338.71/6 mths
'17 GMC Acadia Denali $328.40/6 mths
The Cayman S was a $90K build, and the on order GTS coupe is a $143K build, so I'm expecting something in the $400's per 6 months.
Some of the numbers I've seen in this thread would probably lead me to committing ritual seppuku.

I've been with State Farm for 35 years, and they seem to treat me OK on rates for all my insurance. I get bombarded all the time on how much I can save using the Geicos or Progressives of the world, but every time I've ever shopped them, they are always higher. Having all your insurance with the same company is obviously important to get max discounts, and that fact impacts me even more living in FL. The home insurance market here is not exactly a liquid market, if you will. Numerous companies have left the state, and a lot of mom & pops have started up to fill the void. Personally I want a company I am sure has the reserves to pay a claim from a weather disaster, so that drastically limits just how much I can shop around. I do make it a point to sit with my insurance agent every year to discuss my policies & coverages, if for no other reason, than to make sure she knows I watch & question my rates.

I can't stand State Farm... they would constantly bombard me with phone calls and e-mails to give them my odometer for "drive safe and save" and then when I took it off my policy, my rates went up higher than anyone else would charge. IMHO it's an idiotic business plan they've decided to go with.

It use to be that 25 was the age where you began to get the lower rates. Don't know what it currently is.

I'm paying just under a grand a year with a $750 deductible and top of the range coverage all around. Me and my wife as drivers, no accidents. Adding my 16(>17) year old in a few months so that should be interesting.
Interestingly I have 4 cars and all are around a grand each, including my Fiat 500 Abarth which has a replacement value of around 10K. My agent was unable to explain to me why a $10k car and a $100k car cost around the same to insure.
