The Pcar says yes even if you say no!
It seems like our cars make many statements about us, whether real or imagined. One that I have to deal with is other drivers believing I am game to race them. Yesterday coming back from Seattle a mustang pulled out behind me smoking his tires and fish tailing. I pulled to the side of the road and let him pass. I am seeing this type of behavior at least once a week. Are you experiencing the same? Btw none of my Mcars invoked that type of behavior in others on a regular basis.

I have the same thing here in Austin from time to time. Have you noticed it's always some younger kid/guy in a mustang, camaro, nissan, vette, etc.. that wants to race. Even when I had my Ferrari, I never had another Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo, Benz, etc. do that.

I think Subarus like to race us, because they have the a boxer engine like us.

I'm sure it is regional, but here not many try to race or show off against a 911 (too common, too boring, too understated, IDK?). For some reason only Teslas seem to like to do it.
In my Cayman GTS it was a daily thing. It got to the point where it was annoying and I could not even drive my drive. Ferrari's, Ford trucks, Subaru's, other Porsche's....whatever.
I kind of thought that at first they were showing off or wanting to show what their car could do, but maybe it was just that my car got them inspired...got them in a sporty mood? Either way, I just let them go.

I experience this with corvettes all the time in my 911.
what I found odd recently though was in my Boss 302 I had a younger guy in a 911 doing it to me.
I think maybe it has something to do with how we drive plus the car. I like to drive "spiritedly" (not like a jerk) and I think whether I'm in one car or another people want to "race."

Yep, the few times that it happened to me were Mustang drivers. It seems like they need or want to prove something. It happened when I was in my MB too so it's not just Porsches, it's just mustang drivers.

Had one of those today, he saw me going the other way and dumped a gear or two for no reason. (in traffic no less, just to make noise) It was a trans-am from the late 90's yellow with a black screaming chicken on the hood.
