GT silver w Side Window Trim in Aluminum
Hi gents,
thinking about whether getting my new c4 in GT Silver with Side Window Trim in Aluminum or rather the standard black trim. I have seen it only once in this combo on a passing by car and really liked it.
What do you think? Any pictures much appreciated!

Old-school. Some like it. Some don't. I don't think it will really show up that well on GT silver. A black car, yes. I am not a huge fan of chrome.

I like the look personally. So much so that I wanted silver trim on my new car. (standard gloss black) I called the parts department and got the bad news. It's something like $3500 in parts with $500 or so in labor. Yikes. You have to buy new rear windows for some reason! Bailed on that idea. I'm now looking into getting them wrapped in silver. I'll let you know how that goes.
If you're ordering do it! It's only a few hundred from the factory new.

I agree that it may not show up the best on a GT Silver car.
My preference is the other way, my last car had silver/chrome window trim and I wished it was black the whole time. So, I was happy that my C2S had black trim.

Do it...
I, for one, like the silver window trim. It shows-off the curve of the rear-quarter window which is a key element of the 911 look. On a GT Silver car the effect is subtle but still positive.
It looks like this:
This car is on the lot at my nearest dealer right now (Sonnen). Sorry for the crappy iphone pics.

I just picked up my GT Silver 4S and did not go with the chrome trim. My 2011 Cayenne that is Black has the chrome trim and it looks good on the black but I found on the GT Silver it just throws another metal color into the mix. If you decide to tint your window the black trim also makes it look cleaner.

I love it but note that it really works on the 50th because in addition to the window trim, the rear vent system and the front air intakes also have chrome trim to pull the whole package together.

Do not like, but it's a personal thing, like car color. Nobody call tell you what's right for you except you. IMO, it pops too much and doesn't fit with the rest of the car. Draws my eye to the wrong part of the car.
