Has anyone jumped from a .1GTS into a .2 GTS yet?

Has anyone jumped from a .1GTS into a .2 GTS yet?
I'm currently in a 991.1 GTS and I love it.
I am hoping to get a GT3, but that probably won't happen till late 2018.
Was toying with the idea jumping into a .2 GTS for a year and change...
I haven't test driven a .2 GTS yet. I hoping to get around to it within the next couple of weeks.
Has anyone (who previously owned a .1 GTS) made the move to a .2 yet?
What are your impressions?

Don't own a GTS, but to be honest....are you just looking to lose a bunch of money? You love your .1 GTS, and are looking to get into a GT3. So why would you want to flip to a 991.2 GTS? It's not like a substantially different car. Certainly less than the jump to the GT3.
You're going to take a depreciation hit on the .1, then the .2. So why do it? I'm curious?

It's a lease. Ends May 2018.
Porsche usually has pull-a head programs where they can get you out of the lease early if you go into another car, so I was just tinkering with the idea of ordering a new one within the next month so it's delivered right around the end of this year, jumping into the .2 GTS until I (hopefully) get a GT3 allocation (with the odds of that happening being pretty slim at the moment from what I can tell...).

I have a 991.1 GTS and I just had to drive a 2017 carrera S to know I was going to want the GTS. The low end torque really crushes it for day to day driving...however, I know I'll need an exhaust for the new one where as the old one is great from the get go.
