Hi from a fellow resident of IL, awaiting delivery of my own just-ordered vanity plate ("BLUE OWL"). Unfortunately, as creative as your choices are, they won't have the desired impact since, as you're finding out, most folks won't be able to decipher them "on the fly". However, you CAN do "SIXTY N 4" which would be kinda cool; the risk is that "N" is usually interpreted as meaning "and", so folks might think you're 64 years old (which, to me at least, is pretty young). Whatever you choose, I wish you happy exploring of possible vanity plates, I must have gone through 40 ideas myself!
Actually I prefer the thought of having folks trying to decipher the plate. I mean what's the point in a plate that says MY 911 when a few inches above the plate is the Porsche emblem that includes 911? Or why FLAT 6 when anybody that would even read it and knows what a Porsche is knows it's a flat 6?
Thanks guys. Clear that everybody's got different opinions which helps make the world go 'round

Just while we're on the subject, I guess I go with the concept that I don't want people to be able to glance at and remember my plate... just on the rare chance they are unhappy with me for some odd reason. I've seen a couple of vanity plates that purposely went with a hard-to-read or hard-to-remember combo.
An example was something like: B8BS8EB. Older eyes have a hard time with that.
I just went with the custom black Texas plate design but with the state-generated boring numbers that aren't at all memorable.

My friend tried to get something like "I11I1I" for his M3, but apparently the NY DMV is onto the difficult-to-discern trick.

I showed "FLAT6" to my GF, my 30 year old son and his wife. My GF thought it referred to an injured *****. The others couldn't even guess. When I told 'em what it mean't they said "so what, who cares, its like putting V8 on a 928 or a Corvette, which, by the way, are the same car." They claim Porsche owners have such big egos that we think everybody cares what our plate says. They then ticked these off in just a few minutes.

Now, those are noticeable, readable, understandable and just plain funny. The last is my favorite. Honest, direct and hilarious.
California bans 1111lll and all variations of it like 0O0O0O0O0O
How about these?
"SDNXLR8" Audi 5000 Turbo
"PAYING" on anything expensive.
"NOTACAB"on your speed yellow anything.
