Update: Low Coolant Warning message returned after my car was returned to me. (Pressure Test didn't show signs of leakage)
The condition is: AC ON, in Stop & Go traffic the message came quickly and happened about 5-6 times, even while I was talking to Carlsen Service Manager.
Today- Monday May 15th, I was given a Loaner and Carlsen has the car again. Porsche USA is also aware of the current status. Stay tuned.

Porsche USA did help with the cost. They got Carlsen to reduce price and Porsche USA is sending me $300.
I'm still concerned about the evaporation of Coolant within 10,000 miles.
Planning to drive to Grand Canyon then onto New Orleans and back to S.F..

Follow Up to Coolant issues
May 18th, Carlsen replaced the Coolant Sensor in the reservoir (Also as "Johnny5Alive").

May 22nd, on Friday May 19 I was In East Bay Traffic, Outside Temp showed upper 80 -90, AC was ON- NO MORE Warning Message.
Seems the Coolant Sensor in the Coolant Catch Tank is the problem.

I ended up paying $300 to have it resolved, and when I contacted Jimmy, he said it was impossible to have to dislodged the cable and seemed pretty defensive. So essentially the dealer and Jimmy were pointing fingers at one another, which put me in a bind. I ended up just paying the money, and I don't think I would take my car back as I didn't feel great about the tone. He essentially said there was nothing he could do.
It wasn't an awful experience, and I can totally see his perspective, but with the many indie options I will probably go elsewhere moving forward.

UPDATE: my random overheating was diagnosed as the same issue as other folks here. Some faulty sensor in the coolant reservoir. They replaced the entire part with a coolant flush and everything seems to be ok.
Also they replaced a faulty Change over valve that wouldn't activate my heater. All under CPO.
There was also some other module recall for fuel level as well that was performed.

I got this yesterday. Car is a 2016 C4S daily driven with almost 16k.
I was pulling into a parking garage but had just gotten out of traffic and you can see the temp outside was 95.
The car cooled down to normal temps pretty quick, but I called my SA at the dealer right away. I brought it in this morning and we took a quick look over it together.
All was normal. He did say there is some sort of TSB on the coolant reservoir and that somehow it is causing this issue. He ordered a number of parts and offered a loaner. Since the car seems fine today I told him I'd drive it over the weekend and that he could let me know when the parts arrive.
both oil and coolant temps read around 250-260, and then came back down pretty fast. Will update when I take it back in Monday or Tuesday.

my wife just dorve the car up to LA from SD, on the way she got the exact same message. She pulled into gas station and she had it towed to Pacific Park Auto in Mission Viejo. The mechanic checked fuse - no problems. he will check relays tomorrow AM.
From the forums, it seems it's the change/cross over valves or need new Coolant reservoir and coolant level sensor.
Is there an active TSB for this?
thanks!

Do you have the part number for the coolant reaervoir and coolant sensor ? Do you need to replace coolant as well when doing this ? Car is out of warranty so a porsche specialist will be doing this instead of the dealer

good thing, ended up no issues w reservoir nor sensor.
there were just numerous pebbles caught in the radiator shroud causing the fan to stop spinning. need to have all the pebbles blown out.
fee will just be labor. somewhat of a relief but he mentioned its poor design on Porsche's part.
we just had our streets repaved so there were so many small pebbles all over streets being picked up by the tires.

I brought my car into the dealer for some service and they could not open the engine lid and later learned the cable that operates the engine lid was disconnected and the dealer claimed that this occurs often with oil changes, and unfortunately wouldn't be covered under warranty.

want to share what the SA told you about how to avoid messing the latch up during oil changes?

Burning Brakes
So mine [ 2013 S, 18K miles} has heated up 2wice in heaven traffic. near 250. Took into dealer here in mpls, they told me the radiators were blocked with debris. Asked to see it, said it was thrown out. Parked now for the winter... Seems there is an issue with overheating, but is it a bad part, truly blocked radiator, or somthing else?

Very helpful thread, this occurred last night in my 991.1 GTS. Got the warning to stop driving, temp shot up to 250. I had just left for the gym and not gone 1 mile so no way it could get that hot so quick was my initial thought. Pulled over, did a search on Rennlist, and checked the coolant level (which was on min). Walked across the street to grab some distilled water, added a bit to get the buoy to move off of MIN. Started the car, and temps dropped to normal. As I pulled out it threw one more Warning of overheating, but then immediately corrected it self. I switched over to the digital temp and noticed it was only at 161, settled at 194.
Thanks to Rennlist for pointing out to get Distilled water and not using anything else. Going in for service next week anyways, so will report back their findings.
