Thanks all. It's really been a great 3 weeks. I've even volunteered to go to the store, my wife is now saying I should buy another one.

Congrats! Like you, I missed out on many years of 911 enjoyment. Glad I finally saw the light.
If one truly enjoys driving, the 911 is very hard to beat.

Congratulations! Too bad it was raining when you and your friend went out. However, you will get many more opportunities. I drive my Pcar every chance I get!

It was just cloudy up in the mountains. Not a drop of rain and sunny at sea level.

It was a lot of fun.

Congrats on your first P Car, you will love it, but you already know that!
I am on Number 23 Porsche, over the past 50 years!, and after the past two years with a Stingray Z51, came home to my 2013 Coupe in February this year.
Sorry to hear about your experience at Hennessey, my experience there was 100%, maybe give them a chance over time to re-earn your business.
Anyway, enjoy the ride, and smiles!

You're fortunate to have more than one option close by for service!

Being honest.
It's easy to get caught up in the numbers game and I've been guilty of it too. You just have to remember there is horsepower and there is Porsche horsepower. Beautiful car! Enjoy!

Thank you!

As far as Hennessy is concerned, that's not going to happen. I made a deal on a car late one night, it was the salesman day off the next day, so we agreed I would come the day after to pick it up. My bank fella emailed and called his manager during his day off to finalized the transaction, my money manager gets an email at 10 pm saying the car was sold that night to someone else. Neither the salesman or the manager bothered to call me until I called them to verify that what transpired was true.

I received a generic email from his manager the following morning saying that they just had received a truckload of new inventory to come in. I replied that if during our first interaction they showed they would not stand by their word, why would I bother to come in again? I heard nothing.

I offered to put a deposit on the car the night I looked at it, they said that they didn't take deposits, that's the first time I've ever heard of a dealership not taking a deposit. I offered to pay for the car on my Amex, again they said that they couldn't do that. Then when I was leaving the salesman comes and tells me that they will take a deposit on a debit card, which I don't even carry.

Overall a terrible experience.
