Once you go Michelins you will never go back.

Enjoy the new driving confidence when you push the go pedal.

I just hope Michelin keeps up with the demand for their tire 305's (for the C4S) get scares at certain times of the year.

If you're ordering MPSS from Tire Rack look at the MPS4S. Next generation Tire that just came out. Their tight on availability, but my set arrived last week and they're awesome. I believe pricing was pretty similar.

Agreed on Michelins being way better. Car runs smoother and quieter. Cant say anything on performance yet.

They aren't available for 19's on Tire Rack. Maybe next time!

I called them and looked at their website. As it turns out, they are a family owned service station, a Michelin distributor themselves, and after a phone call to them, it was obvious they know Porsches.

Check out the pics on this Google search:

Here is their website for my pals in Virginia:

Now if they could only store my summer tires when I put on the winters...

PS - I mentioned above they are a Michelin distributor, but told me I could get a better price from Tire Rack on these tires and should buy them there. That is real customer-oriented service!
Yahoo! Tires ordered YESTERDAY from Tire Rack, delivered TODAY at above installer. Unbelievable.

Dan, please let me know how this Exxon station works out after they install your new tires. Do they do motor oil/filter change too?

Thanks, Dan. Good point.....I can just give them a call but was wondering where you go for oil change service in our area. (Rockville Porsche charged me $360 for an oil change.)

+3 on Michelin.
All my Porsche and BMW cars for past 15 years had Michelin SP, then PS2.
I've tried a few cheaper alternatives, but they always happen to be cheaper for a reason.

I haven't replaced tires on the C4S yet (wears stock PZero's) but heard that PS2 N4 on a 991 are fantastic. I'm actively working on burning these PZero's shortly to get the opportunity to test by myself

Porsche Tyson's Corner is about the same (that's where I go). Not sure about Porsche Arlington but I would expect a similar price there, too.

I buy the service contract, so I just go to the dealer at Tysons. They also give some free service, too, during "open" hours. The tire service that found the nail was free. I can have a chat with them and ask when I take the car in.

I might get up for Katies Saturday morning, but I do like to sleep in on Saturdays. Another poster said you need to be there by 6:30 AM for parking. I have never been there before.

My first set of Michelins were XAS purchased for my first car, a Cortina GT. I have had them over the years, always replacing worn tires with them. So definitely not a newbie.

This 911 is leased, and the "NO" for Porsche means "NO, you can't return the car with better tires on it." The Goodyears are "NO", and can imagine Porsche gets some graft for giving them the moniker.
