I actually prefer the Delrin, myself. It's more forgiving in extreme climates regarding the temperature. If you exclusively park indoors, it's not so much a problem - but if you're parking outside in the dead of summer, the aluminum shift **** can get quite hot and will take a little longer for the temp to equalize with ambient.
The Delrin still adds weight over the OEM setup, so you'll still get those benefits. Some owners order both an aluminum **** and Delrin ****, just to mix and match depending on the season.
WEIGHT…
OEM – 90g
CSK Aluminum – 220g
CSK Delrin – 155g
I'm happy to extend the Group Buy savings onto a purchase of a Spare CSK ****, as well, if anyone is interested in that.

Add me to the list
I would also add a commentary on the "quite hot" comment from F1. I installed a Whalen shift **** to my S54 M Roadster years ago. Very similar in design/manufacture of the aluminum F1 ****.
Depending on where you live and the intensity of your summer heat, the **** can get "very hot". I parked outside at work with the top up and a sock over the shifter. By quitting time, the **** was too hot to hold for more than a second (quick shifting required) and it did take quite some time to cool down.
The feel and the weight of the **** made for very engaging shifts and I was very happy to have it installed. I am not trying to change any minds, just trying to add some experience which I believe will be similar to the F1 ****.
That said, put me down for the aluminum **** in all silver, please!
I will PM my order selection as requested. Looking forward to improving the factory shift experience.

Ya, I'm actually still using an aluminum **** since the temperature outside is still reasonable.
But I do keep a Delrin **** in my glovebox in case we get a hot and sunny day
