What did you pay for an oil change at dealer?

My local indy was charging $99 as a special for a while, recently bumped up to $149, still very reasonable. Dealer is probably $300.

Coming up on my first oil change for my 991. About $43 for 8 qts of 0W-40 Mobil 1 at Wallyworld (before rebate), $45 for filter, o-ring, and crush washer bought from dealer, and I have the oil service reset gizmo on the way from Amazon. I have everything else I need such as drain pan, tools, etc. If you don't count the oil service gizmo (which will be used over the life of the car and I hope also on my Macan) that I had to buy and don't count my labor, under $90. Granted, this is off topic compared to the question posed by OP, but this it what my cost will be for an oil change.

Need to remember to get brake fluid flush every other year. 4 year service is the big one but interestingly big ticket service but price quoted usually doesn't include the brake fluid flush.

$300 for oil change / 3y service.
I had some other warranty items which took them about 5-6 days to figure out, so it was fair considering the almost brand new Macan loaner they've provided during that time.
Pretty sweet ride by the way that Macan; I have to admit it's nice to drive a cushy car/crossover w plenty of tire and PDK every now and then. I might be getting old

As to how much oil a 991 takes on the change, it is supposed to be 7.5 liters. I always change the oil myself, letting the rear tires sit on Rhino ramps. The front tires are on the ground. I suppose this angle allows a little bit more oil to drain out of the sump, since the drain is near its front edge. Being in the US, I use quarts of Mobil 1 5w-50. After adding 8.0 quarts, driving more than just to heat the oil, the measurement indicates two levels down on the virtual dipstick. From this point I have to be very careful adding any additional oil, as in 1/4 quart intervals. One time I thought I had it just right, but ended up with slightly too much oil. As you may guess, it is a little tricky to drain a cup or so of oil- best to have a long 8 mm hex to keep your hands out of the way!
