Default Price check '14 Carrera 17K

I'm just getting back into the market and I'm looking for a simple basic 911. Coin flip on PDK vs Manual. This is a non-CPO 17K car. Clean car fax. Single owner. Decent records. I think they're close at $72K. Thoughts on what a good buy price would be? Thank you.

That's a sharp looking 991... even with those HRE wheels. Has some nice options too for a base Carrera. I'd estimate the wholesale price of that was likely in the low-60's up to mid-60's max and hence they're pricing it above 70k obviously for a good profit. But at their listed price it's not a CPO car therefore I think a fair offer for it is around 67k. Below 70k isn't bad but if you can get it for 65k-66k then I'd say that's a obviously a pretty good deal. After all it's technically still low mileage however try to get an independent PPI though especially again since it's not a CPO unit.

For comparison, here are some filtered 2014 Carrera coupes via: https://www.cars.com/for-sale/search...51683&zc=80301

Good luck!

I would ask for a discount because of the wheels.

I just purchased a MY14 C2 Cab 18K miles with a few more options, Premium Package Plus, Entry and go and it was CPO'd. It was $74K. MSRP on mine was $16K more and it came with the 423 wheel package not HRE wheels. So I agree with Bossing mid to low 60's would be the right price.

I was gonna say the same thing...

Personally, I think that's a $65,000 car. I have a much better optioned, much lower mileage 14'S that I'd be lucky to get $72k for if I sold it today. No way a base, non-CPO car would be worth $72k.

I agree that $65k would be a good price, and for what it's worth that is a $10k set of wheels.

I paid right at 70K a year ago for my 14 C2 Coupe. It had around 22K miles and had more options - PDK, PSE, SC as well as CPO warranty. I wouldn't pay more than around 65K for this one.

Manheim is showing high 50's low 60's for a base car. Looks like they have had this thing for a while, so who knows what they own it for. If they went to auction with it, they would be looking at 10-12k haircut right off the bat.

In my case I picked up a base '14 C4, not as many toys as this car but with 39k miles and I left with it in October for just under 65 with CPO.

FTFY.

The word 'pimptastic' comes to mind when I look at that car.

Thank you for the replies. Again, I'm just not current on what 991's are selling for so your non-BS input is very helpful.

I laughed at the Pimptastic designation. I've had Skittles colored exotics and I kind of like something different. I'll admit this one is getting close to the edge. I'll look at the car later today and see if I like the wheels.

I'm just looking for a basic '13-'14. has to be a c2 or c2s.

Thanks again for the input. Very helpful.

Unless you intend on keeping the car forever, you've got to consider resale with those wheels on the car. In the Porsche crowd, I think those would detract from value on resale. Even if you were able to sell them, you probably wouldn't net enough to put the car back to stock, given how expensive Porsche wheels are.

My friend bought a black C4S CPO with 24k miles for around 75k....had an original MSRP of around 130k.... This seems much too high. as others have said 60ish IMO
