18 months of configuring my 991.2 and this is what I just ordered for a July 6th European Delivery of a 2018 Porsche in Leipzig. Group delivery too! I was trying to go for the look of a GTS without the things I didn't want that come with a GTS. Below is my build. Granted I can't get the SPASM in a base model which I really wanted, cant get the red calipers (I like the all black wheel anyway), I hate alcantara so the full leather is what I ordered. Of course the extra 80hp is missing....but I know I am an outlier when I say this...... I'd pay more money for less HP and a manual. Seriously. ....and the front fascia differences is irrelevant "to me."

Did I miss any options that I could have ordered to make it look like a GTS?

Nailed it! I had to go back to the configurator for the GTS and compare it to my code to see it but you are right. Nice job! I didn't want the front fascia because this car is just going to be a commuter car for me so I needed it to be very "user friendly". I was worried about the clearance.

That's what the PDLS does right? (other than brighter lights that swivel of course) It adds a black accent.

Don't forget to put a GTS sticker on the doors. That way people will think you paid more.

Seriously though, nice looking build. If I wasn't getting a targa I would have specced something very similar.

Just an opinion

with that build, you can spec a gts for almost the same price of the gts

if you don't like Alcántara you can order the leather interior on the gts

That is funny! I saw that on the configurator too but I prefer the cleaner look without it. Thanks for the feedback on the build. I love it. Targa is better. I almost went with that but I am keeping my 981, already have a convertible and the 911 C4 is just going to be a commuter car. Gosh....I can't believe I just typed that!

I appreciate your opinion and I struggled with the same question. I really don't even want AWD with the C4 - I don't like the extra weight and I don't need all four wheels driven. I am paying 7k more just for the visual appeal of a butt that is 1.7" wider. I like that look very much. I also didn't realize that I was missing some key options (as pointed out above) that are appealing to me on the GTS like the sport design mirrors and the front fascia. On the other hand, I am getting 5% off my C4 build with European delivery (another $3k for the dealer to fork out) and I think I would not be able to get anything off a GTS for European delivery. Money matters. If I was not keeping my 981 BS as well, I would have ordered a Targa 4S but my wife is really attached to the Boxster. Life could be tougher.

White gauges......I have a 2014 Cayenne spec'ed the same way and the gauges look Great. Also, what about the NEW CARBON FIBER Mirrors?????
