None here but just after 2K miles.

I'm curious, I wonder if running in the sport suspension mode over the softer classic chassis might bring about rattles sooner - it is a good bit stiffer. Thoughts?

Not sure if it causes them to appear sooner but at least in the Targa sport suspension mode definitely tends to accentuate rattles that are present

Otherwise no issues.
I have the exact same issue on my Cabriolet.

All new cars, at any price I've found at this point do it a bit. My cayman GT4 has NO rattles at all, my 2015 gt3 didn't either. My mothers 911 4s has a few, but nothing major, mainly due to sunroof I think honestly.

3. 991.1S CPO - Annoying rattle from driver's side door, around speaker grille. It will rattle even when music is off. Annoying rattle from back of passenger side seat. It sounds like the seat belt is hitting the B pillar. Rattle disappears when someone sits on the seat.

Is it me or West German labor is less meticulous.

Brought the 911 to the dealer and returned without any fix. SA says mechanic found rattles to be normal. ???

[Edit: Anyone knows of an independent shop in the San Francisco Bay Area that is good at fixing rattles? Thanks]
Hi - #3 was fixed by my dealer after 2 tries. The back of the seat was removed and initially felt tape was applied around the "seat ****" which I referred as the latch, to fold it forward.
Brought it back a 2nd time and they tried telling me it's a normal rattle so I made sure in no uncertain terms that PNA was going to have to decide. Needless to say the entire **** mechanism was replaced and the seat is dead quiet with or without occupants.
Go back to the dealer and demand the same.

Good luck and let us know how it went.

I have the same b-pillar passenger side rattle but it is the seat belt anchor area in my case. Gets to me. Dealer tried once replacing the anchor/retractor. Worked for a week. For the original post my 991S is worse than my other cars. My R8 is rattle free at 25K.

Others have complained from the seat noise. You're hardly the first one but if, worse comes to worse I'll refer you to my SA and they can work it out or PNA will. Don't let them tell you for a second that this is normal!

No rattles anywhere in my 2015 991. I love how it is dead silent over speedbumps, too.

I custom ordered my car and have had rattles from the beginning and still have them. I've brought it in to the dealership a few times just for the rattles that were so bad they distracted from the enjoyment of driving the car.

After fixing most of them the car is a lot more enjoyable, but I still get rattles all the time. Hopefully they can finally get rid of them.

My 07 Cayman S hasn't ever had a single rattle and none of my other cars have ever rattled like this. My brother has a 97 Ford and I don't hear any rattles.

Had some rattles.

Dealer fixed them. Rattles or no rattles, the car is a sweet drive.

2016 991.1 C2S with sports rattling package, Porsche dynamic rattling, and coin in a can audio plus. It rattles like hell. Anyone who says it doesn't isn't really listening. I haven't sat in a 911 that didn't have some cabin noise. Dealer trip x 5, rattles resolved = 0. But man I love the car.

When people here are talking about rattles, is it squeaks and rattles over relatively smooth roads, or when you go over a big bump? I don't have any rattles most of the time except the known occasional early build mirror button rattle at certain radio frequencies, but I figure when you go over a big enough bump, you're aways going to get some squeaks in the sunroof and such.

I drove my 1 month old 991.2CS 4000 miles last week and developed a terrible rattle on the passenger side over country roads. Eliminated the seat, the glove box then found the source was an unclipped visor!
