Makes me nervous. Guess I'm a wuss? If you do wrong, what stops car from over reving? Do 911's like 0 - 60 runs? Sort of rock and roll being played on a stratavarious (sp?)... can be done, but prob not right.

It's cool you guys do. I don't judge! Just gives me the *******. Boy I'd be angry if someone spent the afternoon launching my car. Can't be good for it? Again what do I know. Maybe no worse than auto crossing

Drive a non sport chrono car and launch it.....

All I did was did what I did with my car and reported the facts as I saw them YMMV.

Hey....I just did this in my 72 VW Super Beetle with autostick tranny....works like a champ. Who knew the VW group had "Z06 Launch Control" way back then.

Thanks! I was getting confused with all these other non-Porsche computer-controlled possibilities.

I think the Corvette guy took his toys (and bold shouting at all us lesser types) and went away.

I was going to say the same thing as fasttr; that my non SC CD has launch control, then, too. As does my '03 diesel Ram pickup.

I just went away because I was banging my head against the wall.
For any of you non sport chrono guys......you have launch control just like I do in my 991.2 base PDK car.

Try it, you'll like it.
