After 18 years of painting plastic and rubber for the Porsche world...
You've come to know BumperPlugs.com for many reasons. Our paint crew has more than 30 years' experience with high end plastics and rubber. It's basically all we do. BumperPlugs, Bumperettes, Consoles, Interior/Exterior Trim. We sweat the small stuff. And we've been sponsors here for more than fifteen years.
When the 991 was introduced, I was invited by a dealer to see the car pre-launch. I immediately noticed the distraction of the rear lower reflectors, and the day the 991 launched, we began offering body colored, custom painted rear reflectors. We've been at it ever since, painting these OEM parts to perfection for customers around the Porsche world.
To celebrate our 18 years serving the Porsche community, we are now offering this stunning 19 stage factory paint process for the rear 991 reflectors at 18% off through January 18th!
This limited time offer will expire in three weeks. Does not apply to existing or pending orders. New orders only.
Order LINK.
After you select model and color, click shopping bag/cart in upper right to view cart, and use the discount code REFL18 at checkout. We'll get your model and paint code confirmed, and parts underway in our pro downdraft system using Porsche factory chemistry (for a perfect match every time), and then ship to you for easy installation.

Have used Eric @ bumper plugs several times, as well as these reflectors and ALL his products are perfect with excellent customer service. He's great! This is a easy upgrade.

Has anyone had any legal issue with the reflectors replaced? Are police as relaxed about them as the front plate, more or less picky? Any states where it's more of an issue? Love the look, unsure of the risk.
Also, any chance you open yourself up to some liability in an accident if it was something that one could argue might have been avoided if you had them stock?

Just a heads-up... it's required under US law. We're obligated to have red rear reflectors. The reason you may not notice them on some vehicles is because they're integrated into the taillights. I'm not sure if there are car models that don't have them, but there are likely reasons how/why they are exempt from the law.
But, as stated above, it's a stretch to assume that you'll get in trouble for it. I plan on doing the mod myself in a few short weeks.
