How easy is it to fix chronic hose breakage on windshield washer system. Dealer did it last time.

If you can change your own oil this is easier. There's step by step videos on how to do it,45 minutes with basically no tools needed.

What do you mean by the entire assembly? It's a cheap plastic hose that splits into 2 pieces : one connects to one sprayer, the other to another sprayer and the other end to a quick connect a few inches below the fender.

If I ever have to fix it again out of CPO I'm just going to splice in a rubber hose at the hinge point.

Default Rubber Hose Fix

I simply spliced the hose - took 5 minutes at best.

I used vinyl-flex from www.atp4fluid.com 1/4" ID X 3/8 OD. I suspect other products would work as well. Please see pics. Thx.

Remove the black cover.

Insert splice. Note - friction fit.

How dumb of Porsche not to redesign this part. It's been happening for 10 years. This would be an easy redesign.

It tends to fail out of warranty. That's all you need to know to understand Porsche's attitude.
