Oily residue collecting on bottom of engine.
My 2018 C2S with 14,500 miles is producing an oily residue on the bottom front of the engine. Hasn’t started to drip yet, but looking pretty wet. Turbos and pipes look dry. Anyone else having this issue? Taking the car to the dealership on Friday.

Simple things first. Was the oil drain washer replaced at the last oil change or re-used? It's a one-time use crush washer.
Did the last person who did the oil change miss a little at the filler and drip some?.
Those two simple things will create oil on a bottom of the engine. Any leak that is concerning fill originate from a seal. You can clean off and degrease the bottom of the engine and then start tracing it should it re-appear. The "Front" of the engine is actually the part closest to the rear bumper, The engine is in backwards so to speak. Oil reside from the drain plug area to the rear bumper is mostly likely a drain plug seepage

A messy oil change was first impression. Engine cleaned and oil reappeared. Its hard for me to get under the car but leak seems to be higher than oil pan on the back of the engine. I have read about PDK leaks but not sure of the color of fluid in PDK. I was wondering if anybody has heard of RMS leaks in the new engines yet?

Well just back from the dealership and they have identified a leak some where on top of the engine. Engine needs to come out for better assessment. Porsche of Austin TX is awesome no run around and have a loaner while the repairs are performed. So pretty much talking to myself on this thread if I don't see any more interest will probably stop posting. Thank you! drcollie for your response.

Quite the contrary.
We would be extremely interested in the outcome and what exactly caused this issue.
Please keep us posted.
Thanks.

Today I picked up my car from the dealership. Engine lowered not out, oil cooler and separator ok, warped o-ring on oil filter housing. SA said not o-ring on top of filter housing, but at the bottom.
Anyways plan on more spirited driving miles and see what happens.
