Amazing and unlike the Carreras it is improved in all of the right areas. Also unlike the Carreras it is better looking and not uglier than the old one.
It's essentially a reasonably obtainable 911r. Older cars just dropped in value

Porsche always finds a way for a current GT3 owner (or other models) to want to go to their dealership and buy the newest toy. This is the GT3 everyone wanted back in 2014.

What do you guys think of the hollowed crank shaft for new oiling requirements?
Wonder what they made it out of so it would not crack in long term use.

Sure hope they have worked out the engine issues on the current GT3 engine. Lots of upset/disappointed customers owning the current GT3. Sounds like a lot of changes in this engine.

Been there, done that. Great car for the track, not such a great car for everything else. Car has great cache and everyone wants one, but unless tracking is a big part of your plans for the car, reality isn't as great as the idea. Tried real hard to make it work, and it wasn't my DD, but the wing was an obstruction in traffic, the 9K redline was illegal to reach on the street except in 1st, the lift didn't work for unseen small dips where the front lip would hit (10mm lower than SPASM), and truth be told the exhaust sounded pretty dull below 4K. Unless you can drive the car hard on the street it becomes frustrating real quick. Just a former owner's opinion, but I am not rushing to the dealer to trade .2 C2S even w/ an allocation.

If you want to drive one hard on the street, just open a shop and test customer cars. I hear there's a shop for sale cheap in Kansas...
Also, does this not trump the last GT3RS?

I so desire one of those.
And yet I've only ever truly enjoyed open-air motoring, need a reasonably practical dd, could not park a thing like that on my street and deeply value my driving licence So I know that it is a terrible idea!
Nevertheless...

That thing was way improved over the 991.1 GT3. Hopefully there is a lot of current GT3 owners out there that want to sell their now archaic GT3s for fire sale prices.
