I'd rather pay double for a diffuser that diffuses. In the minority it seems.

Any plans on making something wind tunnel tested that starts under the engine?
How fast do you drive to need so much downforce?

Does anyone know if the Vorsteiner diffuser is wind tunnel tested? It's extends under the engine and costs damn near $2k. BTW, I just emailed them for confirmation.

No way that will hold up if your doing 100MPH+

Next you know its in someones windshield with a lawsuit on your hands.

Please go back to the drawing board and make with some form of screw attachment.

Now that they have explained the mounting method, you should apologize for your premature e%&*^%&on.

I'm sure he's going to buy one now that he knows it's screwed on. He said he was almost sold.

I am still more of a fan of the Vorsteiner rear diffuser. I prefer the carbon fiber and the overall design that flows under the rear. They are on a 3rd generation to improve it. I have also reached out for testing info.
I'm leaning Vorsteiner. I think it's more striking although more expensive.

Not only is this part probably aerodynamically useless, but it also adds weight. Sure it's not much, but I try to avoid paying for weight increasing accessories.

I doubt any of the kit out there has gone through tunnel testing, maybe techart has.
it really depends what u looking for, if you track or drive in high speed, def dont buy kit that is not tested.

The only people who wind tunnel test is Porsche. The aftermarket guys are in the cosmetic, sound, and placebo business.

Thanks for confirming! I gotta say, for a part that costs so much it's quite disappointing that it's not functional. I love the look and weight savings of carbon fiber, but if it's non-functional I'd rather buy the urethane counterpart and spend the $1400 I saved on other go fast goodies.

I'm going to go with the Vorsteiner. If it's about looks I think hands down the Vorsteiner is the better looking quality piece.
