Annoying software update
I had my 991.2 Targa 4S in for service and the dealership performed an update to the software for the PCM and vehicle displays. I found that the configurable "vehicle" menu in the multifunction display had reset to (top to bottom) turbo boost, water temp, oil temp, and oil pressure. I have reset the oil pressure gauge in there to compass three times, but that setting won't store; as soon as you turn off the car it resets to the oil pressure gauge. Not a big deal, but annoying.

Need to set it with your key or it defaults to factory settings. Downside it wont remember your last a/c settings, etc.. No auto memory option on mine. Trying to figure it out with my dealer and Porsche.

You need to set the key memory or it will revert to factory default settings for the MFD. Downside is it then always goes to the comfort settings (AC, etc.) that you set with the key. No auto memory option on mine. Trying to figure it out with the dealer.
