NightBlueTTS ...I know the feeling ! I damaged my inflatable front spoiler once, and had it replaced (not under guarantee -ouch!). What happened to yours? Did it just fail, by itself? Scary.

bkrantz didn't know there was a "dirty car thread" Must go find it... at the same time, I love a dirty Porsche, as it is a sign of regular use. Don't know about the U.S. but in France, so many
people leave theirs under a blanket in the garage, and only bring them out on sunny Sundays... I drive my TTS (with its war-paints) daily ! And she does get dirty...

@drive95 lovely, lovely, luverly Carrara White !! I have had four of these over the last few years... and the Classic wheels! and the last normally aspirated engine in a Carrera!! You've got it all, my friend.

A question to all three... I am not new here, but still very inexperienced . I would hate to derail a Thread... today, we are going to a Cars and Coffee in Bordeaux (genreal meeting, all cars accepted but a fair group of Porsches)
and I am not sure where to post my pics, later tonight. There are so many Threads here, it makes my head spin... can you advise, please? (pics should ne nice, it is going to be a sunny Sunday in Bordeaux)

Well, for one I'm jealous you're going to a Porsche meet in Bordeaux! Sounds amazing. Two, you can feel free to start a new thread sharing the photos from the group meet. I am sure quite a few members here would appreciate a peek at Euopean enthusiasts' cars.

I had to give in, and we stopped at a self service car wash after leaving the hotel. The car was almost too dirty to get near.

I guess getting a 911 dirty is still news. Here it is:

Lovely car, BKrantz... we seem to have fewer and fewer bugs on the cars, even in high summer... pesticides I presume... incidentally, do you know the "women's tights" trick to remove bugs? well, nothing to it, really, just spray the car with water, wait a few minutes, and rub gently with old tights or stockings ... it works wonders. Only risk (I speak from -painful- experience)...: mistakenly using a good pair of tights !! And having one's eyes scratched out !!!

Ah, right. I think I recall some mention of that in a license mount discussion thread back some months. Seems like you used 3M tape at the bottom, correct?

I might look look into something along those lines. For now, just not going to run a front plate.

100% 3M All-weather, double-sided tape work really well. I've used it now on numerous P-cars.

Here is the other direction from gearFX's pic, aka my point of view. Count the P-cars again
