I must be missing whats special about these cars beside the exterior sticker package.
Now the pricing is just hilarious. If the $14K included the options as packaged deal I could see that but they also charged for each option a la carte.
What am I missing?

I guess its not enough for Porsche to make $15-$20k on every car they produce, they have to find other ways to supplement that by creating artificial exclusivity(look at any GT sports car).
I love their cars and absolutely hate their sales practices.
My .02 cents.

While the PCA 60th car is a tasteful visual package unlike the endurance racing, I still wouldn't call it a real limited edition car. With a true limited edition car you could customize all the visual bits and it would still be a limited edition car. The PCA would not. For instanced on a 911R you could take away all the stickers, change the dash and seats, whatever you want and it still has the 4.0 with the manual combination that is not available on other 991s. If you changed out all the PCA visuals, you'd have a GTS.
