Default 991.2S ECU Tuning Group tune 492 HP / 478 TQ

Does anyone have any experience with ECU Tuning? I'm wondering what octane their numbers are based on...

No mention of the warranty. I imagine this would invalidate it, but for $1500, I want to do it!!

It seems a bit too coincidental that the increases in both power and torque are EXACTLY the same for the base and S variants (+72HP and +110lb.ft)

If the stock S with 420 HP and 368 lb ft. goes drop to 62 in 4 seconds, how does a C2 with ECU 442HP and 441 torque take 4.2 seconds? I should be quicker than a base C2S unless the torque isn't available at the same point as the base car, in which case what is the point? I don't think you need much more acceleration between 80 and 100 mph, more usable off the line in most situations?

Need to see hp&tq curves/charts.... need to see the whole picture and details of multiple runs including as mentioned octane used.

Impressive numbers but I think I would want to see actual dyno results before pulling the trigger on any tune. If they came to those results I would assume they pulled them directly off a dyno, so why not post the results?

I'm probably going to wait to see what Cobb comes out with before making a decision on a tuner.

so its slower with a tune than a 991.1?

Launch control will net a consistent 0-60 and eliminate the human variable.

There's no way. A 991.2S with nearly 500 hp has to run to 60 in the low 3 second range; especially with PDK and launch control.

unless the power ratings are just marketing propaganda.

They need to find a PDK with SC to do a before and after.

Since stock C2S and C4S cars with PDK and launch control have consistently run 3.2 sec 0-60 times, I'm thinking 500 hp gets one to 62 in 3 seconds dead. Or better!

I guess that nobody has done it. Would anyone like to speculate on what this would do to the engine or the turbocharger in a non-S? It's not like I really need more power as the C2 has plenty for me, but for $1500 bucks, why not?
