That is the least and most ridiculous example of a lemon car I have ever heard of. I'd jump on that one in a heartbeat, if it was what I wanted and actually resulted in a discount to what I would have wanted to pay. But I'm more of a left brain guy than most...

I had a lemon law car, it was a new 2011 BMW X3. An iPod in this car, hardwired through the USB connection, kept dropping the connection so listening to my music from an iPod/iPhone was impossible. I have close to 20gb of music in my iTunes library, so for me this was a huge deal as I listen to music from my iPod 95% of the time. BMW wanted the local Tech to completely disassemble the dashboard and run a wire that would HOPEFULLY give them some info about what the root cause of the failure was. I said no way, you're not ripping my brand new car apart, so they tried and failed to fix the problem using other methods. They eventually ordered a new car for me as a replacement. I asked the Manager what happened to the original X3 and he said they sold it, making the buyer sign a waiver accepting the fact the iPod would not work. Someone bought it and I guess did not use that music source and was happy.

I would not buy this 911 without knowing exactly what the horn issue is. Could be something minor, could be something major. But I would not buy it without knowing exactly what the issue is.

If you bought this lemon, would it hard for you to sell it a few years from now?

Probably just as easy selling bags of ice to an Eskimo in Alaska.

Well, I would love it to be my forever car... but then again... thats what i thought about my 997.1 and after 19K+ in repairs it had to go and that Carfax was as clean as one can be and from a Porsche dealer... so go figure.

In any case, its gone already so on to continue my search.

19k in repairs? Just curious, over how much ownership time and was it a lot of different things, besides regular maintenance items, ie tires brakes...

18 months. And that's just various repairs, not maintenance.
Good thing I had warranty so only about 3,500 came out of my pocket. But warranty set me back almost 4K so......... I got screwed no matter how I slice it.
No matter, when it was running I enjoyed every second of it. Snow, rain or shine.
