Default My Biggest Regret After Special Ordering my 911

Good Morning and Happy New Year Gents and ladies.

So I'm extremely satisfied with my 991.2 after giving up on the perfect 991.1 search...but my biggest regret is not getting the upgraded fuel cap!

My build:
1. "free color" - i didn't want to pay extra for paint
2. "basic leather" - i genuinely don't care for a leather dash board or any of the other leather bits(like the steering wheel column? lol... to each to their own though)
3. Premium Plus package - I was going to avoid this, but I was talked in to getting the LED headlights and I don't regret it.
4. sport package - simply a no brainer..... rear wheel steering and GT steering wheel(it's frikken amazing but it's so small that I can't see some of the guages - don't care though)
5. RS Spyder wheels - i'm a sucker for mesh wheels.
6.Bose stereo - i don't really listen to my tunes in this car, i generally crack a window and the sunroof and let the PSE do the work.

That's an easy enough problem to solve

I wonder how it feels. I'll probably need to go to the dealer to look at it. Anyone have it?

It's a silly expense, but every time I filled up I sorta wished I had one. A bit indulgent for 10 seconds every few weeks, but I get it.

Plus, my OCD always makes me put the "Porsche" right side up. That adds about 45 seconds to my fuel ups.

I like the alum-look cap, harks back to racing heritage (yes, I realize it's plastic and be nice if it were alum. but I get why). And still enjoying the alum pedals.

My biggest regrets are:
* the black PDLS headlight surrounds, ~$700-800 OEM and nearly $5k at Suncoast - wtf!
* not ordering more custom stitching in Lava on doors
* leather on the steering column + stitching

Those are harder fixes! The fuel cap is easy.

It came with my car and I would not order one with it. NO ONE sees it except you when refueling, for all of a minute or two. I would rather spend the money on something else.

Don't sweat it OP. You'll miss it less than the $200 leather key pouch you passed on as well...
