991.2 Tinted Tail Lights
New From Suncoast! Tinted tail lights are now available for all 991.2 models. The center section is tinted and gives a nice, subtle smoked looked. Genuine Porsche OEM part.
Fits all 2017 or newer 911 Carrera models (including S, 4, 4S, Targa, GTS, Turbo, & Turbo S models). Sold as a pair, plug and play installation.

Anyone have these? I like the idea, but I do actually want other drivers to know when I'm braking.
One of my taillights was lightly damaged before I bought the car (thanks to the service procedure). There's a small corner missing on the left side, so not a big deal from a visual standpoint, but it seems to siphon water from the pressure washer. Occasionally I'll even get a warning on the PCM to check left brake and turn signal.
I thought about trying to go through warranty, but I'm not convinced anyone would take responsibility. Perhaps rightfully so.

I have them - added after the fact. They look great! Recent pic below. Easy to install, just as bright as the non tinted versions.

I guess the brake illuminates mostly on the red, so it makes sense it would be just as bright. Car looks great! Cheers.

Does anybody have pics of the tinted taillights on a Guards Red car? I think the contrast would look good.
