Sorry for the delay folks, with the added order numbers some of the supplies were delayed. Some part are still coming in, but we have enough to start assembly on the first half of the orders. A couple of us here are going to be working through the weekend putting everything together. Each set takes about an hour and a half to set up, so I'm hoping that we can get through at least the first 10-20 orders this weekend and keep that momentum going. I'll be sending out emails individually to verify shipping info and square up the balances.
If I haven't said it yet, thank you to everyone who placed an order for your patience. Most crowds would have been blowing up my phone and inbox by now. It's pretty killer to be part of a community that understands that quality takes time and is well worth the wait.

Hey everyone, we're finally cooking with fire! Been waiting for a couple small items to finish the assembly on the first wave of tweeter sets. There's a ton of work in these, and I'm making sure to personally test every single tweeter for impedance, electrical response, and acoustic response before they get packed up. The first 15 sets are done, and just waiting for some packing material that arrives tomorrow — I'll send out some emails today for shipping confirmation and balance payments.
The next 15-20 will be close behind that, we're waiting on more hardware clips that should be in by the end of the week. The final 20-25 sets will likely be around a week after that since we're waiting on a shipment of tweeters direct from Denmark. I'm going to spend some time tonight going through the orders and update the initial list with color coded ETA ship dates.
Here's some "proof of progress" for anyone who might need some reassurance...
Okay, so I just updated the initial post with a color-coded ETA for every order. They key is at the bottom of the list.
The biggest piece we are waiting on now is grilles for the second half of the orders. We've been getting a new shipment about every week, but we still need about 23 Black pairs and 3 pairs of Umber.... I'm sure we broke the machine in Germany that makes these things...
Keep in mind that the list is fluid, and availability takes priority over order number. For example, if you are 5 spots ahead of someone but your grilles aren't here and theirs are, they will ship before you. That also goes the other way – if your ETA includes skipping people and their grilles arrive in the meantime, they will ship in order. If anyone has questions please feel free to shoot me an email.
I just received two emails from Nick. The first letting me know my tweeters are done, ready to ship and confirming my address. The second was an invoice for the balance. I confirmed the address and paid the invoice. Hopefully I see them this week.
My car is put away for the winter so I'm not sure when I'll do the installation. I look forward to others reviewing the upgrade. Temps are supposed to be warmer this week so I may pull the cover off and put them in.
