Noticed today while driving that if my sunroof is popped open, even a tiny bit, the spoiler jumps way higher, very visible in the rear view mirror. if i close the sun roof, the spoiler immediately lowers to its normal up height.

So unless moving fast wit the sunroof open, i can't get the spoiler to go all the way up to whatever it is doing there, so i have no idea what it actually looks like, like that. anyway to get the wing to go to the higher height while the car is sitting still? or anyone have a pic of a 991 which has the spoiler out in this way?

Yeah, the spoiler deploys higher to compensate for the change in aerodynamics with the sunroof open.

If you want a good view, I recommend that you get your wife/friend get in their car and take pictures while driving next to you. That way, you can get a sense of the change in height while opening the sunroof.

I tried taking a video of my Boxster's spoiler while holding my iphone out the roof...... almost lost my iphone....dooh....
