or you can do this for 1/3 the cost :

( pics of MY former 2013 Platinum Silver C4S coupe ... ignore the gaps on these pics , which were taken before the Vorsteiner spoiler lip was secured )

That looks marvelous. Did you opt to disconnect the powered spoiler ? T https://tagmotorsports.com/vorsteine...r-wing-spoiler

nope , since this car was not tracked and never driven over 90-100 mph on public roads, optimizing for factory engineered " autobahn in rainstorm at 180 mph " aero stability was not a concern for me ...

with that said , any additional rear downforce should still be compensated for , as I did , by adding the optional more aggressive splitter at the front...whether rear lip or ducktail is added to a base body...imo

Well, I guess that's why they make opinions -- so we can all have different ones. If the ducktail didn't exist and it was either sloped rear deck or that...

Let's just say that if they paid ME 1/3 the cost of a ducktail, that Vorsteiner wouldn't be on my car.

Glad your current PCA car has the duck!

Full duck. I bought a car without a duck. I should not have. That lasted 3 months till I started the process to add it. Would not go back and is a problem for me if I wanted a 991.2... though the targa would be ok to me without it. The duck makes the car more aggressive/sporty looking, but not over done... just right. It does help the aerodynamics. My car feels much more planted than it was stock C2S without the bumper/duck combo. It looks great on the car. I also get looks and compliments now...I didn't pre duck.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but 991.2 SportDesign package is rubbish. Porsche has a lot of nerve asking so much money for such a pathetic rear end change with tiny spoiler. And this is yet another reason why 991 owners should wear their ducks proud.

I vote for the Duck. im thinking about one for my GR C2S. But i keep looking for the right X51 or GTS with Duck or Aerocup. i like both looks. My C2S looks tamer than it is, without one of them.
id want the OEM Duck. Because i dont do much over 90 mph anywhere, i would not do the front change to Sport Design.

I don't think think you'll see another DUCK like this for a LONG time, if ever. Doesn't work with Turbo engines.

The DUCK may have died with the 991.1 NA engine.
