Wow. Nice photoshop work. Painted to match car doesn't do it for me based on the grill design. Black is best.

I may be reading it wrong, but I thought only the vertical slats were painted, not the entire piece.
That is some nice Photoshopping, though. Wish I could do that.

This thread is so perfect for RL. As a 991 GTS owner with Ducktail (which means I got standard 991 body-colored grill), I wanted the black GTS/50th grill and paid $1200 for it. Now that black grill is standard, people will be paying good money to have a body-colored one.

Agreed. I thought it would look good, but that design does not lend itself to paint match. Looks much better with the contrasting black.

Every automotive forum forever always wants what they don't have. Very popular to swap for
Euro lights on BMW, etc. Used to be because the Euro lights were all red and had no "ugly amber turn signals". Now that the US lights are all red and the Euro lights have amber, the amber lights are "cool" and people are swapping for those.

Lol.

In that same vein, years back the 996 and 997 guys wanted to be able to delete the sunroof. Now that Porsche has made a sunroof optional on the 991.x cars, almost everyone is getting a sunroof. Worse yet, many are opting for the heavy glass sunroof. Go figure!

See above...added the slats only pic (as best as I could do it)

It does look better with just the slats, I will say..
