Default Nice!

Maybe it corrected itself, though I expect it to come back on at some point.
It's 2024 and i'm in my 2015 991.1 with the PADM and to read your response is awesome. I'm gonna wait it out. I know i'm talking to myself but this was what i was looking for. My PADM error came on while i was in SPORT and I jerked stopped to avoid a car next to me.... Boom Boom, I split brake and push to the Left and there it was ..... PADM

Hope it clears, @Babakazoo . Mine never did (‘15 991.1 Targa 4S). Replaced my PADM mounts with Rennline’s semi-solid mounts. Cold here in Detroit, so have yet to drive it and thus I can’t offer feedback. Here’s the new mount next to the old.

The failed part # was 991.375.059.08. Current part is x.11… multiple revisions which tells me they are still trying to get it right.

Check out this thread

Copy and paste

Was looking at semi solid engine mounts (65 -75 shores) for 2008 car, but my tuner has discouraged. Says it can trigger knock sensors and pull timing.

65 shores would be the softest of semi-solids and I thought knock sensors would only trigger with the stiffer semi solids or solid mounts

I read about the knock sensor concerns, too. I believe, but can't confirm, that issue is seen more in the 997 era cars (which it sounds like you have). The PADM units in the 991 and 992 era vehicles are failing but I have not heard of the knock sensor concern with those vehicles. As an alt, one could also look at Porsche's non-PADM factory mount.

Didn't clear. But now when I hop in, I immediately give a quick click so I don't see the message. SD Porsche wanted 6k to do all 3. Yikes.

991 has two dynamic mounts (both aft of the engine... below the rear spoiler).

Some research on the GT3 forum says that the message should go away after restarting the car a few time. But, it seems you've done that already.
I had a PADM failure in non-sport mode (just highway driving). I believe the two PADM mounts are always powered, but just "softer" mode unless in Sport Plus.

Just installed Rennline mounts in lieu of the expensive and failure-prone PADM's. Any success using DSC to code-off the alert?
