anyone else hear this? seems to last for 30 sec or so.
normal or is this some oddity of the 991.2?

Probably the electic secondary coolant pump. These are normally driven after shutdown in order to cool off the turbos and prevent the oil from baking on the turbo bearings. It's normal and porsche has bin doing this for over 30 years.
