Rear Seat Delete Options
#46
I put gt2/3 carpet in 996 and 997. I just checked a 991 gt3 to see if it had a delete seat and looked at the carpets. its the same as your pics. I got both of mine from ryan. he knows what to do. You also need the c pillar seatbelt blank covers, so you can take the shoulder belts off. the reason I did it was to get alot more usable space. You can also cover the rear area with sound deadening material when you have all the carpet out. it helps remarkably.
you can also sell all the rear seat stuff to guys with gt3s that want rear seats.

2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet Rear Seat Delete Options (991 Gen 1)
Hello,
Does anyone know of any rear seat delete options for a 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet Model 991 First Generation?
Suncoast didn't have options for the convertible models.
Thanks!

Photo of my 2016 GTS rear seat delete conversion. Used all the Porsche rear seat delete parts already listed in the thread with one exception. Used the 911R rear trim panel. Part #991-551-055-84-A75. ordered thru my local dealer. Took 3 months to get. Package hold down straps and brackets I fabricated and installed.

The Carrera T can be ordered w LWB and therefore rear seat delete. Should be able to get T carpet and panel bits. Probably cheaper than R parts.

I'm happy with how my budget delete turned out. $1100 for the used GT3 bench was the only expense. I can trim the threads out to remove the insignia if I want to take the time. I sacrificed my unused front floor mat carpet to make the mid-section, or lower back area.
