Burning Brakes
Personally I think it could only be improved by making the top all metal/body color so there is no fabric to deal with maintenance or issues. From what I am told Porsche did this on purpose to "show" that it has a convertible top when closed. I don't need to show it off and the full glass window and Targa bar show it off enough for me, but perhaps they will change this down the road.
The only negative I can see about the Targa is the extra weight but for how Cabs and Targas are driven the extra 150 lbs doesn't mean anything in the real world. All the reviewers make such a huge deal out of it but unless you are tracking it (which you are not) or driving them back to back (which you are not) you will never know the difference. You certainly will know the difference between having the top down or not!

I'm going to try a Targa if the deal I'm working on goes through. So, now I'm deciding between a 4 and an S. Starting a new thread if interested in commenting there.
Thanks for all the great info and thoughts!

I have a cab. I love the look of the car with the top down, it is very clean and buttoned up. Nothing like summer evenings or brisk fall afternoons (heated seats on) with the top down.
