STG, that is correct: Ducktail, sunroof module as you copied and pasted (and installation kit including the new mounting plate, brackets, fasteners, and electrical dongles, not shown in the advertisement). If anyone wants to see the installation instructions from when I did the removal and installation, please pm me and I'll scan them in and send them to you. I did the work with my painter, so I know what is required for installation. Happy to provide.

Thought you couldn't do the ducktail to the 991.2 cars due to the mechanics of the new turbos in the engine and the engine cover and such? Believe others have mentioned that as well; was this done from the factory or was it a retrofit? Interested as I am sure others are in how this was done. Looks good.

How much water that the ducktail funnel into the engine bay when parked out in the rain?

Damn; I want a duck. I just don't want to spend $2000.

@Nads lol nice colour combo looks somewhat familiar

@mdrobc retrofit custom work done, with no issues on fitment nor functionality, producing them weekly for customers.

Wanted to bump this, interested to hear if the ducks still working well on the car. Anyone else do this retrofit on their 991.2 since this was posted?

Any one else do this?

Robbie and x51 - could you please send me your instructions? Also looking for more info on the mounting kit. Thanks In advance!

Also, does anyone have info on how much downforce the sport design ducktail generates at various speeds? Wonder if it's comparable to the GT3 touring with wing up, or more or less.

The ducktail is likely a full replacement of the factory spoiler and would disable any ability to raise up

That is correct. Ducktail is passive aero; requires a trip to the dealer to program the duck. Without reprogramming I received an aero warning at speed and the third brake light didn’t function (this was on my wife’s 991.1 cab).

Thanks! How much did the dealer charge?

Did you put the duck on the 991.2? Any special considerations?

I got the dealer to do it for free (I installed the duck a week after buying the car).

My 991.2 is a TTS, so no duck for me.
