Intro - new to me 2012 991S
I'm a few weeks into 991 ownership and really enjoying it. This is my 6th 911 but first water-cooled.
My must-have options became: PDK, full leather, SPASM, PSE, hardback sport seats, sunroof, and exterior color of either silver or blue.
Eventually I found the right car about 800 miles away. The build sheet is below. 38K miles, two owners, clean carfax/all records, in excellent condition.

Looks nice. Wonder what happened to the Sport Techno's.

Pretty car, great build and good luck! It's a fantastic car!
Google on here about how to disable your power steering plus. You may like how that feels compared to your 993. I know that in test driving several 991's, the ones without PS plus were much more agreeable to me.

Wow! That is a NICE car. Great build. Congratulations.
I share your love of the 993. It is a BEAUTIFUL car yet now dated in it's interior and technology. I have mine for the evening drives when you want some drama and a different driving experience. But for the daily, your 991 is perfect. I'd love to hear after a couple of months which one is your "go to" car.
P.s. I thought it was funny see a separate build code for each seat. Can you actually order different seats for the driver's from the passenger?

I swapped them out with a Rennlister for CC2's right after I got the car -- ST's just didn't look right to me. Love the CC2's -- just perfect for a blue 991.
Good catch on the seat codes. On the early cars it was pretty common to see a sport seat on the driver's side and a comfort seat on the passenger's. Maybe you can do that today as well?
For the "evening drives when you want some drama" I have an early Targa. After a few days of driving the 991, I definitely miss the raw simplicity of the early cars, and that's when I use the targa for a couple of days.
This isn't the best pic of the interior, but it's the only one I have. Snapped it before jumping in the car and driving it home.
