2017 991 w/ 50th Anniversary wheels + What color is this?
Was talking to a detail shop yesterday about some work, they had this gorgeous 991.2 in the shop...
Aren't those 50th Anniversary wheels? Haven't seen them as an option, perhaps take-offs of the owners 'other' Porsche?
Also, what color is this?

That's hilarious ...... in a sick way. I'm almost positive that they've actually raised the price on those wheels in the last four months. Now they're "on sale", for what was nearly the original retail.
I'll admit that I've coveted those wheels for some time. That's why I'm almost sure about the price rise and then this new 'great deal' price. They were ~ $8400.00 with a 20% discount. That dropped them to around ~ $6800.00. I considered buying them at that price.
It's a bad joke.
P.S. That's a beautiful 4S

- 1400 for tires
- ~200 for TPMS set
- ~100 used center cap set from ebay
6150 for a new set high-quality 20" rims is a joke price?
You're not going to find high-quality 20"s for a lot less than $1500/wheel.

I can appreciate the attempt to recreate the appeal of classic Fuchs wheels, but let's be honest, it's a fail on the 991.2. Not nearly as fitting as they were on an '80's era 911. And at that price?

I think the 50th wheels look great. Don't see any resemblance to the VW wheels.
And the full Fuchs style look awesome.
