Cabriolet Top Going Down W/O Lowering Windows

This has happened very intermittently a few times over the last month or two. I will raise or lower the top on my Cab and the windows will not automatically close or open as they are supposed to do. For instance, when lowering the top, the windows normally automatically lower first and then the top lowers. Once in a while the top will lower without first lowering the windows. Also, once or twice when I have raised the top, the windows haven't closed automatically at the end of the sequence.

Obviously, this is not a major issue, as I can do it myself, but I am wondering if there is a sensor issue that I should have the dealer address.

I have no idea what the problem is but if it were me I would have the dealer look at it before it gets any worse....

Definitely not right and most likely a sequence switch is intermittent or it would happen incorrectly every time! The Windows not coming up after closing the top would not be an issue but the windows not lowering before lowering the top could be an issue depending on side loads or wind when operating it. Get it looked at!

Thanks, I will set up an appointment when I'm back in town.

Have the dealer reprogram your windows

Mine did the same on my 2012 C2S. The dealer will reprogram/ reset the Windows.
if you search the site , I think someone posted how to reprogram them.

Quick update: Brought the car in. Dealer couldn't duplicate the problem over a two day period. Reprogrammed/recalibrated the windows and said to bring it back if it happens again. I'm not worried. We'll see....

Two plus years to go on CPO anyway.
