Thoughts on dealer discount on a 2015?
New here to Renn! It is time to bite the bullet and buy the last of the NA cars. I just can't do the turbo thing... can't do it. The new cars is fast as hell. It handles like crazy. But I just hate that whistle. I grew up driving air-cooled 911s, currently have a 981S, and need my car to sound like a Porsche. A local dealer is still sitting on a 2015 4S that they have been unable to move. They dropped the window sticker by $10k already to the low 120s. Thoughts on where I can push that number to?

STG or someone else is better qualified to discuss the discount rate. But don't wait long. Last of the new NA cars are going fast.... especially in MT. GL!

A new 2015 or used?
Was the warranty already started?
CPO'd?
Take the MSRP and deduct 20% for 2015
Then deduct another 10% for this year, 2016.
Lastly, deduct another 10% since it's almost 2017.

Its new and never been titled so the warranty has not started. Its a 4S with PDK. Sticker is around 130k.

For a left over 2015 car that isn't selling, I'd be looking at 20%-25% off sticker, depending upon how undesirable the car is from a market perspective. I bought a leftover '14 Carrera S last spring that was a very unique, difficult to sell build for 26% off sticker.

Just an FYI, warranty doesn't start at titling necessarily. It is often punched earlier for various reasons, so it's always important to ask if the warranty has already been punchbed so you can factor that into your bid.

LexVan's math is silly in this case. Find the invoice price, subtract $10K (that's probably the trunk money the dealer got). The dealer will not lose money. Try to get as close to the invoice price as possible.
Bought 4 cars this way this year alone.

The dealer seems determined to have this car forever. Only $10k off. Low ball offer on my car. Warranty already punched but never titled (claims you have to do it at some point). Has some miles on it. Unpopular color. In my book, its basically a used car.
