Default Oil change ,required?, One year and 3k miles later

Hi all,
I only drove 3k miles since the last oil change a year ago, car is now at 13k miles , pdk 2013 cab version I have

Do I need the basic service which is oil change etc to be done now or I could wait six more months?

I know oil gets old, so wanted to get a honest opinion from experienced folks here

Thx in advance

I never go longer than a year on any of my equipment, especially a six figure car. Others may disagree, but it's pretty inexpensive in the big picture IMO.

Yes. Annual oil change is standard practice.

Change it cheap enough insurance. Do it yourself even better. Believe me not difficult at all.

It's a time "or" mileage schedule. Whatever comes first.

Wait 6 more months you ask? Like right before putting away for winter? Will be fine if you wait until then. You only have 3K on the oil even thought it's been 1yr.

When did you last check/change cabin filters, wipers, oil level, tire pressures and coolant (the red "bobber")?

You've been a Rennlist member for 8 years and don't know the proper interval to change the oil on a low annual mileage 911?

I'm this kind of guy. I don't skimp on the service.

Have the Porsche dealer do it too.

The OP asked "Can I wait another 6 months??"

In my opinion, sure if he REALLY wants to. With only 3K miles on the oil I'd say he's pretty safe.

Let's not get too off topic.

Lex is right to tease you.
Annual oil changes are recommended on any low mileage car. If I may infer from your question, you can't DIY, and neither can I, so take it to an independent or a dealer and spend the $250-350ish for a peace of mind.
