white is the most common car color in the US. i don't see the appeal, but i'm clearly in the minority.
i saw graphite blue at the autocross last weekend on a 991.2. BEAUTIFUL color. very special.

White: a widespread color but it looks so good on the 991 body. I like the base white for its purity but Carrara has lovely metal flake so it's a toss up. You'll never regret a black interior. FWIW body shops tell me white is the most difficult color to match.
Sapphire Blue: absolutely love it and got this color on my incoming GTS Targa. It's a color that will never grow old for me. Black interior or bust.
Graphite Blue: unique, cool color that will age well I suspect.

Personally I would PTS Aqua Blue and go either Luxor Beige or Pebble Grey interior. Everyone's tastes are different though, I'm not really sure why the colors that other people like would affect what you pick for yourself.

For example I hadn't really thought about the Carrera white and while I personally like the Graphite Blue I did not expect to see this much enthusiasm for it.
Also I always thought white was easiest to repair. Not the hardest as was mentioned above.
This is just another fun part of the selection and ordering process for me.

Do you damage your vehicles easily? You have mentioned repairs a few times. A good body shop will make the problem go away but try to prevent it in the first place.

Might be the highest trade value because it's the most liquid because it's the most common, but if you have patience, the rarer combos have the potential to bring in more if you find the the right person who wants that combo, since they're more rare.

Hi
Congrats on being in the extremely fun process of specing out your 911!
My advice in these cases is to always go back and think about what kind of theme you want for your car - What kind of story do you want it to tell you every time you walk up to it.
Is it a very sport car, a luxurious GT, a classic sports car?
The beauty of the 911 is that there are so many subtle options you can play with to take it one way or the other and really make it yours. There's also Porsche exclusive, which I would highly recommend if you know what you want to go for.
Here are a couple of proposals with white that showcase how different you can go and still have something that works really well
- White Ext, Espresso Brown Int, add a couple of visible leather options and extensive deviated white stitching
- White Ext, Black Interior, Body Color, Painted interior trim, White sport Chrono
- White Ext, Graphite Blue/Chalk - almost white on white if you like that (or just blue with deviated white stitching)
- White Exterior, Espress/Cognac interior
- White Ext, Black/Bordeaux
I would choose wheels to reflect the vibe of the combo you select e.g.
Sporty - High gloss painted Carrera Sport for 2 and 5
More classic - RS for 1 and 4
More extrovert - Turbo Wheels for 3
Seems that you are enjoying the process, which is exactly how it should be!

I think letting other people vote on the color of your car isn't a good idea. The car's supposed to be about your tastes, not the preferences of strangers on the internet.
I much prefer colors like sapphire blue or amaranth red (the color of my C4S) over white, black, or gray. Simply because I'd rather have color than a grayscale shade, and I much prefer the metallic colors over things like Guards Red. But that's my taste, and not yours.

The second half of that is that I really don't like to be the center of attention so while I dig the brighter colors of Guards Red, Lava Orange and Miami Blue, they just attract too much attention for me.
But then going with my theme of performance first, I tend to want to load it up with carbon fiber, it doesn't add anything but it looks fast.
