Guards Red rocks. When I was in the market the only colors I considered were Guards Red and Aqua Blue...

My first 3 Porsches were GR. Great color!

GR is nice, but have you seen Carmine red? Could never go GR when that deep, rich carmine is available. Carmine is the color of the lips of the hottest French stripper you've ever seen. lol

Does it look like this? Never owned a red Porsche after several black, grey and white ones. Pulled the trigger when I saw it in the showroom and my wife said "you have to get that car". So happy I went for it. Same year, same color same cup kit.

I own and love my GR 997.2S, but having seen a few carmine red Porches in the flesh, I wouldn't kick one out of my garage...T

Never get a car that's not the color you're looking for. It's the first and last thing you'll notice every time you drive the car and you'll never be happy if the color is wrong.

Figure out which color you like best, and don't pull the trigger until you find it.

GR is the best color for a 911! Period! Had 2 of them and NEVER got tired of looking (back) at it when I walked away! Is it loud? Sure! But you will be driving the most desirable DD sports car on the planet! I say go for it. That is a rare build in a spectacular color. GL.

The only problem I have with Guards Red is that to my eyes, it looks orange in some lighting conditions. In the showroom, it usually appears to be a nice shade of red, but outside, it looks more orange than red to me.

I own a GR 991.1 GTS and while I had some initial reservations I'd never go back. It's such an awesome color.
