Okay, they're installed! I couldn't be happier. Every time I walk past the garage door and see them I can't believe how transformative the paint is.
It's raining off and on today so I've only got a couple of quick snaps in the garage. I'll shoot in the wild whenever it gets pretty out.
Finally, putting the wheels back on was an SOB -- takes a lot of muscle to dial in 450 torques, even with the big old extension bar on the big torque wrench.

It's a beautiful wheel -- I'm glad I can finally see it.
I got charged $50 more per wheel to leave the barrels black inside and out because of the taping time, but I'm thrilled with that decision as well. Anyone looking at the wheel without tire would think it's an OEM paint job IMO.
I too am interested if the Exclusive silver wheels on Sayyaaf's GTS have black barrels or silver? I assume Porsche got them from BBS in black like all the others and then ran them through the paint booth and laid GT Silver on the entire wheel.

Thank you. Yeah, I'm probably in a small minority, since I'm sure Porsche has their finger on the pulse of what their customers want, and since GT3, GT3RS, and GTS only come in black or dark charcoal, that's probably what the majority want.
But man, when I saw that 911R, it was all over...

I like the black better but silver definitely looks better than the chrome/black side finish that comes on the Turbo S.

I have to agree with you there. I at first thought I might swap for a pair of Turbo S wheels, then looked at a set and abandoned that plan. Just not what I was going for.
